Weekend Visitors

 Papa and Lynn came for a visit not last weekend, but the weekend before.  We had an amazingly warm sunny day on Saturday and spent a large chunk of the day outside playing in the sun, going to the park, etc. We moved our swing set to underneath the trees in the backyard so that when the leaves arrive the kids will have nice shade to play under. I'm trying to make our backyard a "fun place to be"! 

 Papa brought Svea a real starfish and light-up water globe.  She was enamored with them and since they are studying the ocean at Rita's house she brought her starfish for show and tell one day. 

Look at that crazy curly haired girl:)  I made this pic black and white because the kids had slight runny noses on this weekend and her poor skin under her nose was rubbed raw a little bit.  You can see Dan's head in the back right of this photo.  He was working on finishing painting our kitchen cabinets, trim, etc.  It had brightened up our kitchen and we love it.

 

Thanks for visiting Papa and Lynn...it was a long six months since we'd seen you and we glad you are home! They were so excited when I told you they were coming.  It's so fun to hear Kieran talk about people and how he's excited for them to come.  "Papa coming to visit us"  "I want to see Papa".  Fun!
