My House is for Sale!

My realtor is Tina Grade from Alliance Realty in Bismarck.....it's been on the market since the 16th and the price is dropping tomorrow morning to 99,900!  I really miss this house and had I not have gotten married and added a husband and a dog to my family I would have stayed here forever.  It's in great condition and updated.  Tina's number's are 222-2217 ext 169 and her cell is 400-8843.  Here's the site for Alliance Realty where you would have to run a search.  I know that not many see our site, but you never know who could see this and need a home or know of someone who this house would be perfect for.

Dan is obsessed with weather patterns and I got the all too familiar.."HONEY, you gotta SEE this!  I think those are funnel clouds"!  It never did storm and I have no idea why my words are underlined?  Hopefully you can see how they really looked from the pictures.

We had a great time with the family on our 2nd honeymoon:) We had so much fun grilling out, checking out architectural advancements in the city of Brandon, swimming with Hannah, drawing masterpieces on the driveway with Ashlyn, campfires and smores, staying up late and watching movies, walks through the historic Fairwater, and so much more! Thank you for everything to accomodate us, we especiall enjoy living the dream of a 50's sitcom:) Hee hee!

KUNG FU PANDA

I listented to Stuart and Dan laugh their heads off at this movie overpowering Hannah's and Ashlyn's cute little laughs. Very cute that two grown men enjoy kids movies just as much as kids:)

The Shack by William Young

Dan had me read the forward of this book on our way to Mexico on the plane. I read it and then told him to quit talking to our seatmates, hurry up and read it so that I could. We ended up trading the book back and forth during our whole honeymoon urging the other to continue. It's a novel, but we wanted it to be real a true and personal account so bad. The very comforting point though, is that it could be real. We cried, we dreamed, and had some amazing discussions about it. We won't say too much more....just that it's a great read to get you thinking and also highly enjoyable. It was the best thing we could have shared together on our trip to celebrate our marriage. Things we Learned in Mexico and Pictures

-No matter how much sun screen you think you put on you always miss some spots. Our spots were many and interesting shapes
-Margaritas melt fast, so ask for extra ice
-Peanut Butter is NOT a food group in Mexico like it is in the Dornfeld household.
-While snorkeling, double check FIRST to see who’s next to you before holding their hand
-Naked people playing volleyball is not as attractive as it sounds, even from 50 yards away
-Do NOT feed crocodiles, unless you are a Mexican tour guide that stops by the side of the dirt road and opens your van door so that you can take pictures, literally two feet away.
-We highly recommend the book The Shack…it was a great conversation piece for both of us and helped us grow in our faith and a wonderful thing to share between the two of us on our relationship with God and each other
-It’s wonderful to spend alone time together, but also fun to run into familiar family faces as well as share many margaritas with them at the swim up bar.
-Water is apparently called tequila…..we’re sure glad it really isn’t or else we might not have ever made it to the beach
-A wedding and then dinner on the beach=a little slice of heaven
-We love vacations and it was worth every dollar spent

Leaving Mexico:(

We are still safe, sitting in the airport in Cancun. We'll call the N.D. mamasita tonight and see the Wisconsites tomorrow!

We had an amazing time, and YES everything tastes a lot better in the sun by the water:) Can't wait to tell everyone about it!

Here's a quick synopsis of some of the activities we were able to do.

-Snorkeling-first time for the both of us:)
-Mayan ruins at Coba-full of history:)
-Dan married his cousin and her fiance on the beach and then we had dinner on the beach.

We are here!

We are safe and we are hitting the beach! Tomorrow we are going on a snorkeling excursion and on Friday we will go to an impromptu wedding, but we do not know the time! If you notice the Dick and Jane writing it is because this is a spanish keyboard and I can not find the apostrophe to make contractions, but they do have an exclamation button!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least we have margaritas and rum to save us!!!

You boys like Mexxxxxxicooooooooo?

Ahhhhhhh!  It's finally time to get away for our honeymoon.  Honestly it couldn't have come at a better time....I am literally, on my knees, right now, thanking God that he gave us this trip at this time.  I'm going to savor every second of every day like I savor melted chocolate and milk.

We'll try to keep in touch, but don't be surprised if we have nothing, but time for the beach, don't worry our thoughts are at least with you:)  Hee hee!  We'll post on HERE so you know we are safely there and escaping the daily insanity of our lives....ahhhhhhhh.....oh sorry I was daydreaming about what flavor margarita I'm going to try first;)

Dan's Sermon 6-1-08

I don't have Dan's sermon yet, but here's the video he used this past Sunday. I cry every time I see it and I KNOW what's coming! I'm really proud of him as are fellow staff for focusing on the positive, ignoring the negative, focusing on helping ALL that are hurting, and still tying his messages to the text. I'll get his actual sermon up hopefully soon:)
