Summer is Here!

 We are beyond excited that summer is here!  These two might not appear excited in these photos, but this is just a reflection of how tired they are by the end of the night after a hard day of play:)  They actually just looked so peaceful after they fell asleep the other night that I wanted to take a picture of them both.  If you look closely you can see K is sleeping with his new lifejacket all ready for summer!

So the first two days have been great, except for the fact that Kieran is sick and it's vacation bible school week at our church.  We've been juggling because Svea not only goes to VBS, but I'm her group's leader and Dan is part of the opening and closing each day.  Gaga helped us out for a few hours on Monday and then it's just been juggling from there.

 

We are excited to start off a summer here in Moorhead.  Last year we got here with only about 6 weeks of summer left.  It's crazy to think that we've almost been here a year.  Our calendar is filled up, but mostly with things that we don't have to be at, but events we can attend if it works in our schedule that day.

 

Svea has been really good at VBS with me as her teacher.  I thought she might act out because I was her Mom and in charge, but she's been amazing and we've had no issues so far. She's a good listener and follows directions and I'm just so proud of her.

 

I should have a bit more time to document our life now that summer is here!  Another fun thing is someone from church gave us a huge radio flyer wagon and we've gone on little strolls around the neighborhood for the past two nights with K in his pajamas, which he's been in everyday anyway because he is sick.  They love it and it's a nice change from the stroller to try.
