This was Svea and Kieran the day we got home from the wedding two weekends ago. Kieran climbed right into my suitcase and snuggled up and laughed and laughed.
Svea came to join him and then he started swinging!
It's conferences week for me and I'm a little sad. I miss my babies...Dan and I were gone another night this past weekend to see Wicked in the cities and spend some time with my cousin Josh and his wife Cindy (we had a great time/more about that later). So on top of that and a busy week I'm sure Dan and I both will hope it goes by quickly:) On these weeks I understand how Dan feels sometimes when he's busy at work and doesn't get to see the kids as much:(
Last week Svea started swimming lessons? She was SO EXCITED! She talked about it for days afterwards. Some of the things that she did was floating on her tummy and back with me holding onto her. She practiced kicking, putting her chin in the water, blowing bubbles, floating on a noodle. Probably the most exciting thing for her was jumping off the side of the pool into my arms. It was so fun to watch her get so excited:)
Dan called me this morning and told me the cutest story about Kieran. He was holding him and he turned and gave him a big open mouthed kiss and hug. He has been so sweet recently with hugs, smiles, and trying to be funny.
