Winter Inside and Out

The other day Svea wanted to play in the snow, but I was flying solo while Dan was at work and couldn't take her. 

 Kieran was napping so we decided to bring the snow inside! Svea enjoyed this activity for a half hour until it started to melt and then we drank and ate the snow.

 She was so into it I couldn't get her to even look up. We'll do this one again.  She gets saying, "It's cold Mommy, it's cold".

The other Pastor's family at our church had us and a couple of other families over for the first annual "Sled-a-palooza" this past Sunday afternoon.  Both kids are getting over a virus and were still pretty crabby, but the change in scenery proved to be the just what they needed. 

 Svea and Daddy went down twice and she let me pull her down in the duck once.  It must have been enough to burn enough calories because she ate two sloppy joes all on her own among other things. We were so proud of her.  She brought Abby Cadabby with her and shared her with the other kids and played very nice with them. It felt good to get out of the house and do something fun!
