Svea is going to be a cowgirl for Halloween and she is having a cowgirl birthday celebration. Check out her new pink cowgirl boots. She calls them cowboy boots though.

Pretending to be sleeping. This is a new favorite game of hers. This morning I watched her in her crib from the monitor counting the polka dots on her sheets. She counted one, two, three and then all of the way up to eight! I couldn't believe it. She usually says 1, 2, 3, 1, 2.
We got home the other night and she sat on the floor for about five minutes silently just looking at these mini books. With another book about fish she can identify five different colors-blue, green, pink, yellow, and black.
We celebrated an early birthday for Svea when Grandma and Grandpa D were here this past weekend. She loves opening presents and gets the whole concept this year. Thank you to all of the Grandmas and Grandpas for the gifts for our kids. They are so spoiled!
I can't believe our little girl is going to be two in two shorts weeks!
