October 7th 2012-Kieran was baptized by his Dad!
Matt and Jill Morrison are his Godparents. We love these two and couldn't be happier that they are an important part of our little guy's life.
Svea hung out in the nursery with Mari, Taegan, and Emma Shumaker. She had a blast all day playing with them and my cousins' kids, Quinn, Sophia, and Owen.

Kieran was a little fussy at the beginning of his baptism, but his paci did the trick.
Grandma and Grandpa D! We celebrated an early birthday for Svea with them. Thank you for the clothes, books, and Dr. kit! We will continue to practice giving shots and using band aids so she isn't as scared for her appointment in a month. Thank you for being there with us to celebrate Kieran's special day!
With my Mom and Dad. We had fun hanging out with "Papa" before he leaves for Mexico for the winter. Svea enjoyed watching the outdoor channel with him again this time. "Big Deer Coming"! Poor Gaga can hardly take a shower when she comes because Svea won't let her out of her sight!
The whole clan! My Godparents Scott and Connie Carter and all of their kids and grandchildren made the long trip to celebrate with us. I love my Carter family! Thanks for being there! We miss hanging out with them as frequently as we were able to when we lived in Bismarck/Mandan.
And here is Kieran in his baptismal gown worn by my Dad, me, and now our kids. Someday their kids can wear it too. The day went so smoothly and well. I wish I would have had Svea's baptism while I was on maternity leave too! I was much more relaxed. I'm sad the weekend is over. Now, he and I have a week and a half together before work:(
