One Week Old

You are wearing size newborn diapers and clothes. I thought your sister caught onto nursing quickly, but after you I realized she struggled with it a bit. Mommy didn't have to teach you a thing. After you were born your weight dropped down to 7 lbs. even. Two days later at your Dr. appointment you were already back up to 7 lbs. 4 ounces!! You eat during the day about every two hours, but stretch that to every 3-4 hours at night. Mommy and Daddy thank you for that! You have started involuntarily smiling and it is so precious to see. Kieran, you are a very content baby so far, only fussing when you get hungry. We love to stare at your sweet face (which is almost identical to your sister) and thank God for you. We love you more than words can express!
