Cousins and Fairies (Dec. 30th)

Svea got some special one on one time with her cousin Ashlyn while we were in Wisconsin and she loved it.  Ashlyn made her laugh and laugh and she even warmed up to her so much that she got quite snugly with her.

She loved playing with all of her cousins, but it was really fun for her to get Ashlyn all to herself!

 Kathy had a crazy idea to put a princess dress on Svea on the night of our family Christmas.  She asked and even though I cringed, I said yes:)  Ok, so I'm not that dramatic about it, but it's not a secret that I'm not a fan of the whole princess thing.  I know that eventually she will more than likely get hooked on it so I think I was just caught off guard that this time came so quickly...tear!  Ha! Just kidding...anyway, you should have seen Svea the second Kathy got the dress on. 

 She danced and twirled with the girls to Alvin and the Chipmunks.

 At first she wasn't too sure, but it soon became apparent that she was a natural.  She instantly got this goofy grin on her face and you could tell she was tickled.

I think she may have picked up on all of this girlishness from watching Elizabeth for an hour:)  Later the next day she found the dress and brought it to us to put on.  She is hooked.  Grandma, can Svea borrow the dress in February when we see you for the weekend?
