Splash Pad

Paynesville finally got their splash pad up and running. It's not very big, but it's better than nothing!  We took the kids over on Sunday night and the second Svea stepped onto the slab a bunch of water splashed right on top of her head.  She didn't like that and at first we thought that would be it and she would be done, but she wasn't.  She warmed up and giggled, squealed, ran around, and had a great time.  Kieran liked it too!  Dan would splash a little water in his face and he'd just smile.  

The next day on Monday afternoon we took the kids up to St. Cloud and went to the splash pad up there.  It's about six times the size of Paynesville and SOOOO much fun!  They have a playground too and there are sprinklers for young and older kids.  More laughter and Kieran enjoyed it more this time too.  He was everywhere crawling, and letting water spray him in the face.  He didn't care!  We kept having to wrap him up in a towel because he'd get too cold, but then he'd be at it again.

We are headed to Wisconsin tomorrow for almost a week!  Then when we get home I go back to work:(  We'll go back to having 30 pictures in our monthly folders instead of 300 or so. This has been one of the best summers I've ever had!  I think everyone else has had fun too!  I'll have full Wisconsin recaps when we get home:)
