Kieran-You are four months old and starting to get so interactive with us. You smile constantly and make little squeals of delight when we talk, tickle, and snuggle you. You can roll onto both of your sides, but haven't made the transition to your tummy yet. You've rolled from your tummy to your back one time, but haven't since! You are strictly nursing and still doing very well. You wake up to eat once a night. We give you a dream feed at around 11:00 and you usually make it until 3:30 or so. Then I usually feed you once more before leaving for work. You go to bed around 8:00/8:30 and sleep anywhere from 7:00 am until 8:30 am. You aren't quite on a consistent schedule yet. Maybe you never will. We will see!
You are sleeping in your own crib now and doing pretty well. When you wake up you make little fussing noises until we come and get you, or come in and give you your paci so you'll drift back to sleep. You are wearing size 3-6 month clothes and sleepers. You take cat naps of 30-40 minutes throughout the day unless we are out and in your car seat or you are laying in our arms. Then you'll literally nap for up to three hours! We're hoping that when you can move around more and get your self into more comfortable positions that you will sleep longer on your own for naps.

You are still a very happy baby and you love to snuggle. Your favorite is when Mom is super tired and brings you into bed with us. You lay on your side and hold my face or shirt and bury your head close to mine and fall right to sleep. Please don't ever stop snuggling with me and us! When you are not snuggling with us, you are snuggling with your puppy. I know, here we go again with the creative names for our children's comfort objects, but it just fits:)
You take 4.5 oz of milk at a time when you have a bottle at daycare. You are still doing very well there. Such an easy baby, Lynda says. You are holding your head up so well now on your tummy as you can see in this picture. You love to look at yourself in the mirror, talk and roll around. You started the stage where fingers, toys, and whatever we give you goes in your mouth. You also started to drool a lot this month.
I think we fall in love with you more and more every day. My heart just melts every time I get to pick you up and snuggle you. We love you so much! Here is a video of Kieran from yesterday!
