Dan's Grandpa Howard died last night. He seemed to be in quite a lot of discomfort so it's comforting to know that he isn't in pain anymore. Dan was able to make it to see him for a few hours before he died and both he and Dean were with him when he went. I'm thinking about all of the family today and I'm sorry for your loss, but especially Dean. It's hard to lose a parent at any time and I'm sure it's a strange and scary feeling when you are an only child. May the memory of both Vera and Howard be something that we can all share for many years to come. Rest in peace Grandpa Great.
This picture is from just a little over a year ago when we were back in Wisconsin last August. Svea is 10 months old. Very thankful we have this picture:)
