Our Sweet Suki

This post is being written with a very heavy heart. In fact its hard to accept this fact right now and our hearts are aching. Our wonderful, sweet, and precious little girl is no longer with us. It's too painful to even talk about right now, but I wanted to share some of her beautiful pictures. She was an adorable little girl with this tiny little meow that you could sometimes barely hear. She was a timid and shy thing when we first got her, but after lots of love she warmed up to us. My favorite moments with her were when she'd crawl up on the bed with us and snuggle up next to Meeko, which they would both promptly start giving each other kisses on the head. She loved to eat, watch her birds from the windows, and sleep in the sun. The funniest thing about her and the birds were the little chirping sounds she'd make at them. She'd walk from one window to the next to see her nature friends! Riker will miss his girlfriend and Meeko will miss his best friend. We will forever miss our sweet Suki. I don't know how many times Dan or I would just comment on how darn cute and sweet she was. I hope she is happy and she knows we love her. Please say a pray for her, and for us. I am having incredible guilt, which I realize I would be feeling no matter what, but still the pain is so incredibly great. There's a big debate about where our animals go after dying, but I'm a firm believer that no matter what they are a part of God's creation and he has a special place for them whether they are with us in heaven or not.
